Happy 73rd Birthday Mr. Gibson!!!
Bob Gibson is considered to be one of the nastiest(in a good way) pitchers in the history of the game. With a career record of 251-174, with 3,117 strikeouts and a 2.91 ERA, Gibson cemented himself as a dominant pitcher for 17 years as a member of the St. Louis Cardinals.
A 2-time World Series champion, Gibson saved his best performances for baseball’s biggest stage – The World Series. Gibson’s career postseason record is 7-2, with 8 complete games. His outings are legendary as he recorded 92 strikeouts in 9 games while only allowing 1.89 runs per game.
Happy Birthday Mr. Gibson!!!

Probably the toughest MLB pitcher till this day. I have to say Gibson and Koufax are my two favorite past time pitchers.
