Mariano Rivera’s Race To 500 Saves!!! Part 8
Rivera couldn’t get into the game last night, which brings the total to 4 straight games with no action.
I need to re-visit my stance on this a little now, because I would hate to have one of the greatest closers in the game’s history play my team for a 3-game series and not have the chance to see him do what he is famous for… But I don’t want to see him beat the Marlins either.
This is a tough one… Enjoy Atlanta, Mo!!!

Rod Carew is the only American League player ever to win a batting title without hitting a single home run. He accomplished this in 1972 with a .318 batting average.

Happy Father’s Day!!!
If you’re a dad or a son or a daughter, take some time today to sit back and relax. If you’re able to spend a little more quality time with your dad today then let him know just how valued of a man he is in your life.
And if you get the chance, take in a ballgame with him too.
Kind of like these guys did…
