Andre Dawson 1991 Classic
Back in the day, Classic was that brand that kind of just hung around. Never found in Beckett, its cards were kind of a mystery to me so I stayed away.
This 1991 base card of Andre is a spectacular one!! A great image of ‘The Hawk’ in action at the friendly confines of Wrigley Field!!
While Classic’s design is limited at best, they used a great picture on this card and for that reason alone it becomes an instant ‘Classic’ in my collection.
Here’s hoping he’ll be “hall of famer” Andre Dawson come next week.
I have always liked Classic baseball cards… Too bad Beckett doesn’t!
