Bob Gibson 1973 Topps
Hey, check it out. Another vintage beauty for my growing collection – YES!!!
And while the card lacks quite a bit of personality and flare, the same cannot be said for Gibson’s 1973 season.
The numbers – 25 starts, 12-10 record, 13 complete games, 1 shutout, 2.77 ERA, 142 strikeouts, 57 walks, 60 runs surrendered.
Not too shabby for a 37-year old, 15-year veteran!!!
Great sideburns too!!!
