My Gary Carter Player Collection Is Finally Complete!!!
It took almost eight months to complete, but the journey took me through memory lane a few times. And I enjoyed it each and every step of the way!!
The two biggest reasons that I wanted to put together a collection that honored Gary Carter is that (1) he was a member of the old Expos teams that I enjoyed watching and (2) he was a key part of the 1986 World Series winning New York Mets – the first World Series champion that I have vivid memories of watching.
Gary Carter is considered to be one of the greatest catchers of all-time, a very solid contributor to the sport for two decades. I hope that my collection of every major brand card from his time with the Expos and Mets does his Hall of Fame career justice.
As always, now that the collection is complete I will unveil my ‘Fab 5′ cards featuring Gary Carter. That week-long series will start next Monday so get ready for it!!!
Here is a picture of the complete Gary Carter collection!!!
Thanks.

Congrats!
