Bo Jackson 1990 Fleer

Bo Jackson 1990 Fleer

While far from stunning, the 1990 Fleer baseball card design does look pretty good when matched with the team colors of the Kansas City Royals.

Specifically, the Yellow border and nameplate and how they are a perfect color match to the crown that rests upon the top of the Royals’ logo.

As for the card as a whole, I like it but I just wish that the photo showed us more.  Bo Jackson had one of the strongest swings in baseball – a great match of power and speed.  And while the card’s picture does show Bo taking a mighty cut, we are missing way too much of the action in my opinion…

  1. I agree with you that this card needs to show more of the power of Bo Jackson. Perhaps ripping the card in half will show his immense power. I’m not joking around either. it would be cool to see the card ripped in a way that the shape of the rip would follow the shape of his swing.
