Baseball Card Show Review
My friends, I am so happy that I decided to fit the baseball card show on Saturday into my schedule. Between the new facility, new dealers, and cards that I purchased – I am here to tell you that baseball card collecting is alive and well in South Florida!!
From a dealer standpoint, I cannot tell you if they are making money, but the buyers were certainly there, hopefully doing more buying and less window-shopping.
And I even saw a higher percengtage of kids buying cards this time around, which for this show is pretty rare. I actually enjoyed watching a few younger boys tearing through some bargain bins – reminded me of myself 25+ years ago!!
As for my purchases, I did well. Staying within my budget was hard to do, but I was able to bring home some great goodies.
Stay tuned to ’30-YOC’ as I will share those purchases with you throughout the course of the day.
Have a great day everyone!!!

Reading your comment about seeing kids at the show really made me think how rare it is to see children at any Houston area card shows. Usually it’s just my youngest daughter that comes with me. I cannot remember any other time I saw kids. Usually just us old men. At Target, I cannot recall seeing kids much either.
