After such a nice release in 1985, Fleer resorted to their old trick in ’86. The design of their 1986 set may be the worst one of the decade…

At least the color matches that of the Cubs.
But for 20+ other teams that do not incorporate Navy Blue into their color schemes, I have to guess that the dark borders overpower the card (see Orioles, Reds, A’s).
