Horrible baseball card design – Hell of a ballplayer!!!

My favorite stat from Rod Carew’s 1981 season??

16

In a shortened season, Carew appeared in just 93 baseball games in 1981.  Still, he managed to steal 16 bases.  And for a 35-year old veteran, 16 swipes in a single campaign is very solid output!!

    The picture in the card is kinda interesting. You don’t see mountains in baseball cards very much. Its makes Rod Carew look like a giant.
