Jim Abbott 1989 Bowman – ROOKIE CARD!!!
While I am not a fan of the explosion of baseball card brands that hit the shelves in the 1990′s, the late 1980′s offered up a nice chance to add a few more cards to my player collections.
Between 1988 and 1989, three new mainstream brands hit the shelves – Score, Upper Deck, and Bowman.
And since Jim Abbott broke on the scene in 1989 – we had a chance to grab a bigger handful of cards at this time.
This is Abbott’s rookie baseball card from the 1989 Bowman set.
