Lou Whitaker and Alan Trammell played together for more seasons than any other pair of teammates in major league history. Starting in 1977, the pair played together through the 1995 season.

On the other hand it’s thought that Ron Santo and Billy Williams played in more games together.
Poor Lou got shafted and was off the HOF ballot in the blink of an eye. I’d love to see Tram make it one day. I think that Whitaker is the more deserving guy though.
