Did You Know…

The first player in major league history to capture 100% of the votes for MVP was Al Rosen in 1953.  Rosen hit 43 home runs, collected 145 RBI, hit .336, and slugged .613.  Yogi Berra finished in second place.

  1. Flip is really underrated. HIs ’53 season ranks as one of the better offensive outbursts out there (180 OPs+!!).
