Lot Of Two Frank Robinson Cards From The 2012 Panini Cooperstown Set
I was very happy, and a bit surprised, to find two cards of Frank Robinson in the base portion of the 2012 Panini Cooperstown baseball card set.
I had never really sat down and examined the full checklist (still haven’t) but finding two cards of the same player in the base set is a bit odd.
While I understand why they did it (Robinson was supreme as both a Red and Oriole), it just seems to be a bit unusual…
Does Reggie have two cards? Does Seaver have 2 cards? Does Nolan Ryan have 3 or 4 cards??
Time for me to really examine the checklist.
In the meantime, enjoy both of Frank Robinson’s cards in the set. I know I am!!
