Rickey Henderson 2013 Topps ‘Chasing History’
I am still ‘On The Fence’ when it comes to my opinion of this ‘CHasing History’ subset from the 2013 Topps Series One release.
On one hand you have ‘chases’ that have already been concluded, like this one of Rickey Henderson chasing Lou Brock’s all-time steals record in 1991. Does it make sense to have this moment in baseball history part of a set in 2013 when it happened more than 20 years prior to the release? I’m not so sure…
But, I will say that the cards look fantastic – bright colors, great use of Silver, superb graphic elements, and excellent photo choices!!

That is a nice looking card! Would to get one of those for my Rickey PC. Went to a memorabilia shop on Saturday to pick up some supplies and the owner threw in a 2013 Chasing History Roberto Clemente and an American Pie card of Jack Kerouac for free!
