These cards look awesome!! I picked up a bunch of Andre Dawson cards on Sportslots.com last week. I focused on the $0.18 cards and grabbed about 15 new cards to add to my Dawson collection. While the site doesn’t include pictures of the cards you are buying, it certainly adds to the element of surprise when you finally get them.
I had never seen these before, but I immediately was drawn to the design. And having the 2-card set works as they look great together – kind of like a ‘Before & After’ feel.
The border design and the great, action photography really makes this little set stand out as in instant favorite!!

Matt Treanor returned these beautifully signed cards to me in just 30 days.
Treanor spent the first 5 seasons of his big league career with the Florida Marlins. He was never able to establish himself as an offensive threat with the team, but he was a pretty good catcher behind the plate.
Personally, I always cheered for Treanor and hated to see him go. He’s now playing with the Detroit Tigers and I hope that he is able to contribute to his new team.
Good Luck this season Matt! And thanks for the great looking autographs!!!

1983 Topps Super Veteran – Luis Tiant
Luis Tiant posted a very successful 19-year pitching career. During his playing days, Tiant had (4) 20+ win seasons. And with a career record of 229-172 with an ERA of just 3.30, Tiant was a well-deserving 3-time All-star and 4-time Top 6 finisher for the Cy Young award.
From what I have seen so far, this one of the the first cards from the 1983 Topps Super Veteran set that shows 2 pictures in which the player looks nothing like himself in the ‘After’ shot. Granted that there are 19 years between the 2 photos but you could have told me these pictures were of 2 different players and I would have never questioned it.
