It’s Going To Be A Historic Day At Wrigley Field Today!!!

#31 finally gets to sway in the breeze at Wrigley Field alongside #10, #14, #23, and #26.

If you know my blog, you then know that Fergie Jenkins is my favorite pitcher from the 1960’s & 70’s and that Greg Maddux is my favorite from the 1980’s and 90’s.  I love the fact that they get to share this special moment together and I just wish I could be there in person to enjoy the occasion with them.  Luckily, the Cubs are playing the Marlins so the game will be televised in South Florida.  I hope they show a little coverage of this as I find this to truly be a grand event at Wrigley Field.  You have 40 years of wonderful Cubs history represented in 2 of the greatest pitchers from the last 40 years and 2 classy gentleman too.

Let’s take a quick look at what #31 has done in their combined careers.
