The Evolution Of My Collection – Part 6

The Evolution Of My Collection – Part 6

The first thing that you will notice in the below picture is that my collection has added a fourth box.  And while I still had a little wiggle room left in each of the 3 boxes I was storing my cards in, box #4 allows me to remain incredibly organized.

Check it out:

And now a detailed breakdown of what you are looking at:

From left to right.

Box #1 – Row 1 – Rickey Henderson and Eddie Murray player collections.  My nice stack of Reggie Jackson cards.  And lastly my Hanley Ramirez, Dan Uggla, and Cameron Maybin cards.  Row 2 – Empty.  Row 3 – All of the ‘other’ cards I own.  If the lot of any player has more than 4-5 cards, they got their own section.  If not, they are sorted alphabetically.

Box #2 – Row 1 – My TTM collection.  Row 2 – All of the subsets that I have completed or am currently working on.  Row 3 – My supplies.

Box #3 – Row 1 – empty.  Row 2 – Jim Palmer, Dave Winfield, and Darryl Strawberry player collections.  Cards of Ernie Banks and Mark Grace.  Row 3 – Billy Williams, Fergie Jenkins, Ron Santo, and Greg Maddux player collections.

Box #4 – My Dawson collection.  Row 1 consists of my autographs, game-used cards, and modern-era cards.  Row 2 and 3 are all of my base Andre Dawson cards from ‘The Hawk’s playing days.  Row 1 consists of my autographs, game-used cards, and modern-era cards.

My collection is in tip-top form right now.  My player collections are rounding out nicely; and the TTM autographs and subsets I have tackled have taken on a life of their own.

And as you can see, I have quite a bit of room in these boxes to add more cards – and you know that I will!!!

As I look ahead and plan for my collecting future, I am very excited that I am coming close to finishing some of my collecting goals.  And I am even more excited about what the future my bring!!!

Thanks for reading.
