Send A Card, Get A Pack!!!
The headline says it all – and it is simple as that…
I am looking to add some more cards to the player collections that I am working on, and I am hoping that you may be able to help me.
So, if you fill a need for any of the cards I am missing in my player collections, I will send you a pack of baseball cards in exchange.
Yep, 1 card for a pack of cards – I am feeling generous tonight!!!
Here is how it will work – Review my ‘Player Collections’ and if you have a card that I am missing(and it is in solid condition), leave me a comment on this post and I will send you a pack of cards in exchange. If you have 2 cards that I need, you get 2 packs. 3 cards equals 3 packs and so on…
So dig through your Wade Boggs, Gary Carter, Ozzie Smith, Tony Perez, Ron Santo, Jim Palmer, Joe Morgan, and Billy Williams cards and start leaving me comments.
I have 36 packs of 1988 Donruss cards waiting for you!!!
2008 Reggie Jackson Donruss Threads
I have picked up a few cards from this 2008 Donruss Threads release, and while I am not a huge fan of unauthorized cards, it’s Reggie!!
And based on the image used on this card, the shot was from Reggie’s first stint in Oakland. During those first few building years of his career, Reggie’s ability to entertain and attract fans was growing annually. And when you win, like his A’s teams did during the early 1970’s, it makes it all that much better!!

Willie Mays walked 1,464 times but led the National League only once – and it was when he was 40 years old. Mays topped the NL with 112 walks for the San Francisco Giants, the only time he ever reached the 100-walk mark in a season. Mays would walk only 87 more times before retiring following the 1973 World Series.
