Jim Palmer 2005 Upper Deck Lasting Legends Game-Used Jersey Card
This card needs very few words to describe just how perfect of a card it is.
Sometimes, you just have to let the picture to the talking!!!
This is certainly one of those times…

Andre Dawson 2010 Topps ‘Cards Your Mom Threw Out’ – A Pair Of Them
No, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. I grabbed two of these cards of my buddy Andre Dawson.
Why would I do that? Why do I need two of these?
Well, it is simple actually. The card on the left is known as the 2010 Topps card with the ‘Cards Your Mom Threw Out Back’. And the one on the right is the same card but with a reprint of the ‘Original’ back.
2 great cards, 2 great additions to my Andre Dawson collection!!!

Kirby Puckett 1986 Topps
I refer to the 1986 Topps design as the ‘stencil set’. While perfectly executed, the card lacks a lot of design elements.
Still with a photo like the one that they used below of ‘Puck’, sometimes less is more.
And for this collector, this is a fantastic addition to my collection!!
I cannot believe that this card is now 25 years old. Man that makes me feel really old…

Wade Boggs 1988 Topps
Classic style, and one of my favorite issues from the 1980’s – I love this card from the 1988 Topps set.
Boggs had a quirky swing, which obviously worked very well for the member of the ‘3,000 Hits Club’. With a wild hitch, and an odd follow-through, when Boggs made contact, it was solid.
I have stated several times on this blog that Wade Boggs is the reason that I learned to read box scores during my youth. It was a thrill each every time that I saw that he went 1-for-3 or 2-for-4 for the Sox.
And something tells me that he connected for one of those hits in the picture below…
