Andre Dawson 1999 Fleer ‘Sports Illustrated Greats Of The Game’
I found this card on Ebay more than a year ago. Quickly interested and also puzzled by the whole ‘Sports Illustrated’ thing, I knew that as I progressed with my collection that adding one to my collection would eventually happen.
I just didn’t know that it would take more than 12 months to come to fruition…
But the time came, and I made my move. And now, after seeing dozens of these sail by my while cruising around Ebay, I have added one to my collection.
And it is a thrill!!!

Gary Carter 1988 Donruss ‘Baseball’s Best’
Man these 1988 Donruss ‘Baseball’s Best’ cards seem to always find their way onto this blog and into my player collections.
This time, it’s Gary Carter who takes the hit…
And again, just like with my Eddie Murray card, I am convinced that if a team’s colors(like the Mets) match that bold border color used by Donruss than the card works.
And while not a perfect Orange match, I think we have a winner!!!
