My First Time – Carlos Delgado – October 1, 1993

The Setting – Oriole Park at Camden Yards.  Baltimore, MD.

From Delgado – “Me and Huck Flener went up together, I finally got in against Baltimore, and I walked against a right-hander.  The next day I popped out, and that was it for my first big league season!  I had to wait all winter to try and make the team again in the Spring and get my first hit.”

The Boxscore – Orioles 7, Blue Jays 2.  Delgado goes hitless, but draws a walk.
