Carlton Fisk 2007 Upper Deck SP Legendary Cuts ‘Masterful Material’ Game-Used Jersey Card
This card was a throw-in from another Ebay buy that I made a week or so ago.
Now, when I say ‘throw-in’ that doesn’t mean that it was free. But it was free shipping as the seller gave free shipping when multiple cards were won at or near the same time.
So, for just $1.99 I got this:
And while I do like the card, I am a bit bummed too… The photo of Fisk shows him in my favorite Sox uniform. But the relic offers up a Black pinstripe, which came much later during his tenure with the Sox.
If anyone is interested in this card, make me an offer…

Today’s Marlins/Brewers Game Will Be A Family Affair!!!
This afternoon I’m taking the whole family to the ballpark for an afternoon with the Florida Marlins.
This will be my 2-year old’s first game, while my older boy, almost 5 now, has been to 4-5 games with me. And my wife has accompanied me to probably 5-6. But as a whole group, this is game #1. And this is something that I have dreamed of for quite some time.
Since the Marlins are moving even further South after the season is over, I wanted to get in a game with the 4 of us this year. The Marlins games are extremely affordable now so I have very little to lose by trying my luck with a very hyper and silly 2-year old. Next year, there is a lot more money and mileage at stake…
So, today will be full of popcorn and baseball. LoMo will probably get a hit and my older son will probably want some cotton candy.
I do know that I have waited for this moment for a long time. And no matter the outcome of the game, or how long we actually stay, today is a very special day for me!!!
Andre Dawson 1983 Fleer Stamp
As a collector that will not stop when it comes to trying to find new and rare items to bring into the collection, I really had to dig in to find this one.
Issued in 1983 by Fleer, this was part of a set of ‘unofficial’ stamps.
You will NOT find this on any out-going mail from the ’30-YOC’ household!!!

Kirby Puckett 1989 Donruss
A very sharp card here; and a great addition to my Kirby Puckett collection.
From the 1989 Donruss set, the card’s design was very basic and did not offer up a lot of creativity. But one thing that it did do was provide a lot of room for a great, and large, photo.
And that is one thing that the team at ’30-YOC’ just loves!!!
See for yourself…
