’30-YOC Top Ten Lists’ – ‘Top Ten Michael Jackson Songs’

’30-YOC Top Ten Lists’ – ‘Top Ten Michael Jackson Songs’

A very entertaining and energy-filled conversation broke out in the breakroom at lunch the other day.  And it all started with a cell phone ring tone…

One of the girl’s eating with us got a call and our ears were filled with Michael Jackson while her phone rang.  The conversation among the rest of us quickly turned to MJ and soon after the question was asked, ‘What is your favorite Michael Jackson song?’

Well, there were seven of us in there, and six different songs were named as favorites.  But we all left the conversation with the conclusion that everyone has a favorite tune by Michael.

So, without further ado, here are my ‘Top Ten Michael Jackson Songs’.

Honorable Mention:  Say Say Say, Remember The Time, This Is It, Bad, Black or White, Working Day & Night, You Are Not Alone, Off The Wall, Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’, and Man In The Mirror.

9 – Will You Be There

8 – Thriller

7 – Billie Jean

6 – The Way You Make Me Feel

5 – Another Part Of Me

Next week, it is back to baseball…  I promise!

Fergie Jenkins 2002 Upper Deck SP Legendary Swatches Game-Used Jersey Card

Fergie Jenkins 2002 Upper Deck SP Legendary Swatches Game-Used Jersey Card

As I continue to try to push and push my Fergie Jenkins collection to the next level, I am finding some very easy ways to accomplish that task.

And it doesn’t get much easier when the price tag of $0.99 is attached to the cards.

And if said card happens to have a very large swatch from a Fergie Jenkins jersey loaded into it all the better…

Here is the card:

Not bad for ninety-nine cents, huh??

Yeah – Keep the change!!  🙂

Carl Yastrzemski 2005 Topps All-Time Fan Favorites

Carl Yastrzemski 2005 Topps All-Time Fan Favorites

Issued as a re-print of the 1963 Topps baseball card design, this card of ‘Yaz’ from the 2005 Topps Fan Favorites is sweet.

Featuring a great picture of one of the best hitters from his generation, Carl Yastrzemski is getting locked in on the situation with his familiar lefty stance as he prepares to attack a 93 MPH fastball.

Go Get ‘Em Yaz!!!

Jim Palmer 2005 Upper Deck Heroes – Base

Jim Palmer 2005 Upper Deck Heroes – Base

Three years before Upper Deck unveiled their multi-colored, multi-paralleled Heroes set of 2008, they issued a very similar looking set in ’05.

Featuring the same great logo, and an almost identical design, the ’05 set was the original.

And the base card featuring Jim Palmer from that set looks fantastic!

Featuring a great shot of the super-pitcher from his playing days, I really like the 3-D element employed by Upper Deck as the image really pops off of the card.

Come on, let’s be serious…  How much time did ‘Eck’ spend in the mirror getting ready for his close-up?

I mean, that hair and mustache look PERFECT!!!

Happy Father’s Day!!!

Happy Father’s Day!!!

If you’re a dad or a son or a daughter, take some time today to sit back and relax.  If you’re able to spend a little more quality time with your dad today then let him know just how valued of a man he is in your life.

And if you get the chance, take in a ballgame with him too.

Kind of like these guys did…

Happy Father’s Day!!!
