Mark Grace 2008 Upper Deck SP Legendary Memorabilia #d To 50
I couldn’t resist this one – and I have a bunch of these. From Dawson to Jenkins to Brooks to Morgan. I have to say that this set of game-used relic cards is one of my favorites from recent years.
And to be honest, I have to say that he Purple used on this card of Mark Grace looks fantastic – even if Purple is not a traditional baseball color…
Great, Great, Great photo choice too!!!

Andre Dawson 1984 Nestle Baseball Cards – Base & All-Star
Old School baby – Oh, Yeah!!!
Way back in 1984, Nestle took a big bite out of baseball cards (no pun intended).
When other companies were trying to get in on the baseball card collecting craze by issuing small subsets promoting their brand, Nestle took on the entire 1984 Topps baseball card set.
Each and every card of the 1984 Topps issue was re-done with the lone difference being the Nestle logo that was used in place of the Topps one.
Here are the two cards of Dawson from that Nestle issue.
No, they do not smell like chocolate. But, I wish that they did!!!

Bo Jackson 1990 Score Dream Team
Wow, for a card theme titled ‘Dream Team’, I would really expect a lot more out of the card and it’s design.

Happy Birthday Willie Randolph!!!
Willie Randolph turns 57 years old today.
During his 18 year career as a player in major league baseball, Willie Randolph could be classified as an ‘Unsung Hero’ for the teams he played on. 13 of his 18 seasons were played as a member of the New York Yankees and it was very easy to be overshadowed by the many dominant personalities on their roster. But Randolph handled the pressure of playing in New York very well and excelled as a second baseman for the ‘Bronx Bombers’.
As a 6-time All-star, Randolph finished his career with a .276 batting average along with 271 stolen bases and ,1239 runs scored. He competed in 4 World Series match-ups and won the championship with the 1977 New York Yankees.
Happy Birthday Mr. Randolph!!!

As Chris Berman Would Say, ‘He’s Back, Back, Back, Back….’
Don’t look now, but #5 is returning to the St. Louis Cardinals’ line-up less than four weeks out from breaking his wrist. And a full month ahead of the ‘8-week schedule’.
Does he have what it takes to still put together another Pujols-esque season???

In just his second game back from the disabled list, Derek Jeter rapped 2 hits while helping the Yankees beat the Cleveland Indians 9-2 on Tuesday night.
Collecting a single and a double, as well as 2 RBI, Jeter went 2-for-6 on the night and looks to inch closer to 3,000 career hits on Wednesday.

Thank You To Everyone Who Sent In A ‘Best Wishes’ Card For Gary Carter!!!
I just wanted to personally thank each and everyone who sent a card into ’30-YOC’ for ‘The Gary Carter Project’.
This morning on the way to work, I will be making a quick detour to my local Post Office. Once there, I will be depositing a rather large, and heavy, bubble mailer full of ‘Well Wishes’ for the Hall of Famer.
I really appreciate the help you guys gave me with this, and I think that Gary Carter will too!
