Andre Dawson 2003 Topps Tribute – Game Used Bat Relic
I have drooled over this specific baseball card, and many others from this set, for years.
I love the look. I love the design. I love the theme. And I love that it includes some fantastic looking baseball cards.
Like this one:
The set honors players and their first All-star game appearances. Dawson’s was in 1981, and this card proudly announces that on the front.
The card also features a nice hunk of Dawson’s Game-used bat, which just adds icing to the cake for this collector. But I will say, that I am happy that the wooden relic does not overpower the card, it is a fine compliment, but does not take away from the brilliant design!!!
Great job Topps!!!

Reggie Jackson 2001 Topps Archives
Man, I wish Topps was still issuing their Archives set. I love these cards – Can’t get enough!!
So, when I saw this one of Reggie Jackson, I had to have it!!!
Featuring the 1987 Topps (a 30-YOC favorite) design and a spectacular action shot of Reggie, I am loving this baseball card.
And if you look closely, it looks as if Reggie has made solid contact on this swing. See how he head is directly straight and how the power has come from his hips – he hit this one HARD!!! For Sure!!
Take a look and enjoy:

Fergie Jenkins 2005 Upper Deck ‘Hall of Fame Baseball’
Courtesy of my blogging buddy Alfredo, I have a new Fergie Jenkins card to show off to you.
Serial numbered as 332/550, and coming from the 2005 Upper Deck set titled ‘Hall of Fame Baseball’, this one is a beauty!!!
Take a look:
Based on the photo on the card, I can tell that the picture was taken during Fergie’s second stint with the Cubs, somewhere between 1982-1983. And since you can see that the Ivy of Wrigley’s outfield wall has yet to bloom, I am guessing that the photo was taken during either April of 1983 or April of 1983.
Either way, great memories!!!
Thanks Alfredo. And if you have a minute – go check out his fun-filled blog – ‘My Past Time, I Love It’!!!

Dwight Gooden 1988 Fleer – If Only…
If only Fleer had been wise enough to change the color of the stripes from Red to Orange.
If they had done that, you could be looking at a real contender for my eventual ‘Fab Five’ when I complete my Dwight Gooden collection.
