Brett Butler 2005 Topps All-Time Fan Favorites

Brett Butler 2005 Topps All-Time Fan Favorites

I always liked Brett Butler.   I watched a lot of Braves games in the mid-to-late 1980’s and Butler was a captivating player in my eyes.

Hell, I wanted to learn how to drop down a bunt all because of Brett.

This card of Butler from the 2005 Topps All-Time Fan Favorites set pays homage to his 1990 season.

It was during that 1990 campaign that Butler captured his career high in hits during a season with 192.  And of those 192 hits, 20 were doubles, 9 were triples, 3 were home runs, and 160 were singles!  Butler went on to steal 51 bases that year while also scoring 108 runs and driving in an additional 44.

A fantastic season!!
