ATTENTION BASEBALL WORLD: Please Leave My Third Baseman Alone!!!!

ATTENTION BASEBALL WORLD:  Please Leave My Third Baseman Alone!!!!

The baseball world has been on fire over the last 17-18 j hours as rumors were swirling at a feverish pitch that my Miami Marlins were on the verge of sending 3B Hanley Ramirez to the Boston Red Sox.

And between sports radio, sports blogs, and local coverage in South Florida, I have become severely nauseated with all of the chatter.

But, it is all just chatter.

As quickly as the rumors heated up, they fizzled just as fast.

Hanley Ramirez in a Marlin, and that is exactly what he needs to be.

SO, PLEASE LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!

Hanley is a tender soul.  He likes to be cheered for.  He likes to be the one to hit the walk-off.  He likes to be the one to make you leap out of your chair.  He needs that.

He does not need all of the BS that has surrounded him over the last day.  It messes with his demeanor.  It messes with his game.  It all of that in turn messes with his teammates.

So, PLEASE STOP!!!

Even with the numbers he is putting up, Hanley Ramirez is one of the most feared third baseman in baseball.  Very few 3B’s can put up the numbers that he does, and he is having a poor season even by his standards.

We need you Hanley.  And we want you to bat third.  And we want you to hit .280+.  And we want you to score 100 runs, drive in 100 runs, hit 30 home runs, and steal 30 bases.

Go Get ‘Em!!!

And, GO FISH!!!!
