Yep, another great relic card for my Fergie Jenkins collection. 

It has been hard to find ‘new’ relic cards of Fergie lately.  He has not been featured in too many 2012 releases thus far.  Hopefully that changes soon as I still have the urge to add as much bulk to my collection as possible.

My latest addition to my Jenkins relic collection is this one:

The card comes from the 2004 Upper Deck SP Legendary Cuts set tagged as ‘Significant Swatches’. 

The card is nice, but the photo used could have been a lot better in my opinion.  And the swatch color too – Imagine if this bad-bay featured a Cubby-Blue piece of jersey…

The Jim Palmer 2012 Topps train continues to roll along.  Am I am staying on track this time.

Palmer has been thrown in a lot of recent 2012 Topps releases  – from base sets to subsets.  And that makes this player collector a very happy guy.

My latest score of Palmer comes from the 2012 Topps Archives set.  It is a re-print of his 1982 ‘In Action’ card,and it features a classic image of Palmer’s very famous delivery.
