Andre Dawson 2012 Panini Cooperstown – Crystal
While the 2012 Panini Cooperstown release is still fairly new, I am very surprised as to how hard it has been to come across the parallel versions of the cards.
To date, I have opened 12 packs of this product, and I have personally not pulled a single parallel.
So, I shop around on various card marketplace websites in hopes of finding the needed parallels of the players that I collect.
And finally, after searching for a few short months, I came across and picked up, the ‘Crystal’ version of Andre Dawson’s card from the set.
The card is serial numbered as 89/299, and it looks very nice!
Have a peek:
And now I just need to grab the same card of Fergie Jenkins and Jim Palmer… Time to hunt!

Welcome back to ’30-YOC’. It is time again to play the game that you all love – ‘WHAT IS HE DOING’???
I will give you four options to choose from, and you can either choose from them or you can go out on your own and ‘fill in the blank’.
So, without further ado, here is the image:
Now tell me, ‘What Is Jim Rice Doing In This Photo’???
A – preparing to sign an autograph
B – ordering a hot dog and a beer from the vendor
C – talking to the team owner
D – making plans for the night with the ‘hottie’ in the front row
Other – ????
Make your pick now, or go out on a limb and ‘fill in the blank’!!!

1963 Headline: Pete Rose’s Debut A Hit. 2, Actually!!
On this day back in 1963, Pete Rose made his major league debut during Spring Training for the Cincinnati Reds.
The game’s all-time hits king established himself early as he collected two hits in two at-bats against the Chicago White Sox. And although nobody, except maybe for Pete, would have predicted what was going to follow over the next 24 big league seasons, it is very clear based on his debut performance that at the age of 22 Pete Rose had big league skills!!

Joe Morgan 2003 Upper Deck Sweet Spot Classic Chicago Cubs Manufactured Patch Card
The Houston Astros have been getting a lot of attention as of late…
New team colors and logo…
New league – AL West…
Lowest payroll in baseball…
When I saw this card of Joe Morgan, there was no way that I was not going to make an attempt to bring it home. The card features a very similar logo to what the 2013 Houston Astros will be wearing, and it takes me back the beginning of the career of one of my favorite players of all-time!!
Couple all of that with a sweet looking baseball card, a manufactured Astros patch, and a hand numbered serial number of 81/350, and you have a really, really nice looking baseball card!!!
Gotta Love It!!!!
