Baseball Card Show Purchase #4 – Hank Aaron 1986 Big League Chew ‘Home Run Legends’

It’s always fun to find a card for your collection that you have never seen before.  And the fact that this one was issued more than 25 years ago makes it even better.

Actually, the price tag for this card makes it even better as well – I paid just one quarter for this card!!

SHOW 4

The card was issued by the Big League Chew company, and is tagged as ‘Home Run Legends’.

The card is numbered as 1 of 12.  I am going to have to go find the checklist – this may be one set that I build in the future.  Especially if I can find the balance of the set as affordably as I found this card of Hank Aaron.

  1. That sounds like an interesting set. I’ve never seen the BLC cards before, but the design is very similar to a set of baseball cards that my grandparents got me for Christmas in 1987 or 1988 from either Sears or JC Penny’s. The set only included HOF players and on the flag of the card it had the year that the player was inducted into the HOF.

How much is this card worth I have one my grandmother gave me when I was little.
