Sure, I get it. Find an image in which you have to do minimal work. And for a hitter, that may mean a shot of him in which he is swinging the bat so the letters on his jersey are covered up by his extended arms. And if his head is not aimed at the camera, you may be able to avoid having to do airbrush work on the helmet as well.
Kind of the cheap way out of things if you ask me, but it is certainly a lot more economically advantageous…
