Notes From His 1975 Season:  George Foster had a great season in 1975.  He hit .300 for the first time in his career as he collected 139 hits in 463 at-bats.  Of his 139 hits, 51 went for extra bases and he connected for 24 doubles, 4 triples, and 23 home runs.  Foster also drove in 78 runs for the Reds in 1975 while scoring 71 times.  He was a member of the World Series championship team.

Notes From Career:   George Foster was a main contributor to the ‘Big Red Machine’ during the mid-70’s.  He was a huge source of run production for the team as he led the NL in RBI during the 1976,77, and 78 seasons.  He also paced the NL in home runs in 1977 and 1978.  Foster was a 5-time All-Star, a league MVP, and a 2-time World Series champion.
