Notes From His 1975 Season:   Bob Montgomery played in 62 games for the Red Sox in 1975.  He had 44 hits in 195 at-bats, good for a .226 batting average.  Montgomery connected for 26 RBI for the team while also scoring 16 runs.  He hit two home runs for the team too.

Notes From Career:  Montgomery enjoyed a 10-year major league career as a catcher for the Boston Red Sox.  Appearing in 387 games, Montgomery was primarily used as a back-up to Carlton Fisk.  He has a lifetime batting average of .258 with 23 home runs, 156 RBI, and 125 runs scored.  He went hitless in his one at-bat during the 1975 World Series.
