Cal Ripken’s Statue At Camden Yards

Cal Ripken’s Statue At Camden Yards

On September 6, 2012, the Baltimore Orioles unveiled a bronze statue of their famous shortstop that will greet fans as they enter the ballpark for decades ahead.

Ripken, who played 21 seasons with the Baltimore franchise is one of the great faces of the team’s history and his generation in the sport.

Here are a few pictures:

Hopefully one of these days I can get there in person to see it, and the others that surround that beautiful ballpark.

  1. The statues are great to see in person! I wish that Earl Weaver’s statue was him arguing with Ken Kaiser statue – that would’ve been the greatest statue ever.
