Reggie Jackson 2013 Pinnacle Hometown Heroes ‘Curtain Call’ Black Border Version
Reggie Jackson is one of the most prolific home run hitters of all-time.
Owner of 2,548 career hits, Jackson connected for 563 home runs during his playing days – 21.7% of his hits left the ballpark.
Reggie hit a career high 47 home runs during the 1969 baseball season. His next high was 41 which he hit in 1980. He also collected five more seasons of hitting at least 30 four-baggers. On four separate occasions, Reggie paced the American League and won the AL Home Run crown.
This is one of Reggie’s card from the 2013 Panini Hometown Heroes baseball card set. The card is from the subset tagged as ‘Curtain Call’, and it is the Black-border version of the card.
They may not all have been ‘Curtain Calls’ but adding Reggie to a subset of cards that celebrates home runs in grand style is an easy and perfect match.
Great job, Panini!
