Eddie Murray 2005 Upper Deck Trilogy Game-Used Bat Card – SWEET!!!

Eddie Murray 2005 Upper Deck Trilogy Game-Used Bat Card – SWEET!!!

I recently picked up three cards from the same seller on Ebay.  All three cards came from the same set, Upper Deck’s 2005 Trilogy ‘Generations Past Lumber’.

And without revealing the other two players that I nabbed, I will tell you that all three look incredible!

The colors that Upper Deck has used for this set are superb.  And coupled with a solid graphic design and a nice little piece of Game-Used baseball bat, you have an awesome baseball card.

Here is the card of Hall of Famer, Mr. Eddie Murray:

GU MURRAY

The card is serial numbered as 007/115, and this could very well be the best looking relic card in my Eddie Murray collection thus far.

Loving It!!!

Tim Raines 2009 SP Legendary Cuts – Game Used Bat Card #51/100

Tim Raines 2009 SP Legendary Cuts – Game Used Bat Card #51/100

It has been way too long since I added a nice card of Tim Raines to my collection, so I shopped around bit and found this beauty for a great price.

Issued in 2009, I love that the SP brand decided to use a photo of Raines in his Expos uniform for he card.

When I think of Raines, I absolutely think of the Expos first, and he is one of the franchise’s greatest players.  Hell, to take that one step further, I could easily argue that he is one of the decade’s best players too – 1980’s!!!

A fantastic addition to my collection.

And it cost me just a measly $1.99!!!   YES!!!

Eddie Murray 2005 Donruss Greats ‘Hall Of Fame Souvenirs’ Game-Used Bat Card

Eddie Murray 2005 Donruss Greats ‘Hall Of Fame Souvenirs’ Game-Used Bat Card

I’ve got a few game-used relic cards from this set – I guess that you can say that I like them…

And if it was not for just one glaring thing with this card – I would probably rank this as my favorite Eddie Murray relic card.  Can you guess what that one thing may be??

Take a look…

Any guesses??

Come on, guess already…

Anything??

Check out the team logo.  Yep, the Dodgers!  While I am far from a Dodger-Hater, I am hardly a fan of Murray’s time with them either.

You see, when I think about Eddie Murray, one of the greatest hitters that the sport has ever seen, I never think about his time with the Los Angeles Dodgers.  Or the Mets.  Or the Indians.

Eddie Murray is and will forever be a Baltimore Oriole.  Donruss did a very commendable just with this baseball card.  They could have done an incredible one had they used the Orioles’ logo – it’s all in the fine details, my friends…
