There are only four players in major league history to lead their leagues in home runs for four straight seasons.

They are:

  • Harry Davis, 1904-1907
  • Franklin Baker, 1911-1914
  • Babe Ruth, 1918-1921 (six straight)
  • Ralph Kiner, 1946-1952 (seven straight)

 

 

Did You Know…

The player that hit the most home runs between 1900-1909 was Harry Davis.  Davis connected for 67 home runs during that decade for the Philadelphia A’s.  During that stretch of time, David led the league for four straight seasons, never hitting more than 12 round-trippers in a single campaign.
